CHANEL PRICE INCREASE DUE

We knew it was coming,and today i got it confirmed,the prices are going up AGAIN,by around 10%.This is why its so important if you can,to write a list and make sure its mainly timeless classic's,im sure before the year ends there will be another rise,it means we are nearly on par with the rest of europe,im glad my pale gold maxi is coming from usa,and i only have two more classic's to get my red gst,and a winter maxi,i've just cut my winter list completly,as not prepared to pay the price,i'd rather save for the birkin,and then im done,there are also some great reseller's,were you can pick up some great bargins,but the best way forward is to buy vintage.vintage jumbo's are a great buy,and ever so popular,as often made better than the current jumbo's and maxi's

BAG ADDICTION

A girl has to have some secret passions,and somewhere to express oneself,with like minded people.No one can understand the feeling you get when your holy grail arrives,the build up to her arriving,can be unbearable.Will she look the same as in the look books,will she live up to your desires,or end up in the back of the wardrobe,you need a place to let everything out,where eveyone shares your passion on different level's,and were we can admit,our handdag passion is a BIT of an ADDICTION,no one else can understand your need to own 10 bags in the same style,or to spent $50,000 and still have another five bags on your list,that may seem extreme, when a classic chanel lamb jumbo cost £1720,and a birkin starts at£4900,just buying five chanel's is nearly £9k,and most ladies have at least ten bags,of various designers,and that does not include the birkin.Do we need help? yes of course we do,and thats why we log onto bag forums.Call it our shrink session.We try our best to support each other,wheather its to try locate a bag on the other side of the world,or to help someone stick to their purse ban.outsiders think were crazy,but i.d rather spend £££ on a new purse,then on holidays,drug,drink, it keeps me happy,i may not have much wages left,but i've enjoy the pleasure they give me.My list is nearly complete,10 classic bags,and im done,but i'll still support my fellow bagahollic's in their quest for their HG,as we are all one family.So go on,log onto the purse forum,you wont regret it

WISH WHAT,IM HAVING IT

If you want something then get it,as long as its within your means,and wont cause you to go bankrupt.I hate seeing wish list's WISH WHAT,im having it.work my arse off,put up with more than day to day shit,live next door to alf garnet 2nd&his inbreed sister.they really do all look strange,the whole lot of them,i thought i was seeing things,but back in the day,in my town im staying in,people really did marry there cousins,total freak show yuk!,so i allow myself the odd treat now and  again,ok i lie,all the time,LIVE ONCE RIGHT!,so now im eyeing up my first birkin,well been looking for a while ,but trying to get a colour i like,seems mission impossible,i have more chance of winning lotto and marrying george glooney,and we all know he just likes the wind up a lady's skirt. will i ever get my dream bag,TOO right i will,if i have to travel around europe,or even brave mexico,where you can pick one of the shelf,im getting one.this time next year it will be with me.I'LL BE SO THIN ,i'll be abe to sleep in my bag,as at this rate my bags are my house.promise myself once i get the birkin,no more bags,just two chanel maxi's left to get,then my classic's finished.spent £10k so far this year,but as its to get total cllasic's and never to buy again after,its allowed.

I decided after some time to finally get a gst,i didn't want the same old boring colours you see everyday,i know black is classic,but sometimes you have to be a little different.Four SA 's tryed to find me my colour of choice,dublin did there best,as did selfridges london,bond street,but brompton cross came through,they managed to locate one in  central europe,a bright red act 1 gst,im sure the poor sa ear drums are busted,after my screams of delight.so sometime next week,i'll be the proud owner of a totaly blinding,get the rays out bright bright red.soooooo H.A.P.P.Y

dublin chanel

I had my rant a few weeks ago about the delay of my ivory maxi from dublin,well as fellow tpf member said to me,sometimes you have to just suck it up,and stay calm if you want something,as we need them more than they need us,but as we are serious shoppers,i think nine bags between dec and march counts.I will always have my say.I love maxi's as you all know,its the only chanel bag i want at present.I phoned dublin today,as i really want a light gold maxi,or a bright red gst,the thought of paying £1000 more to get from the usa,was a bit too much for me,so i bite my lip,and phoned dublin.The SA nearly dropped the phone when i said my name and had to ask twice,i even spelt it.She then put me on to manger of the store.She had read my thread in the purse forum,which she thought wasn't very nice,as i recapped what had happened with my ivory maxi,i had been very tame on tpf,as we all love chanel and i want people to get what they want,and even after my thread,i was snowed under with emails asking me for information on where to buy,each time i gave the dublin store number,and told people from asia to use a personal shopper,so they could get items shipped to them ,as chanel no longer ship there.Manger said i should have put it in writting,rather than writting on tpf,ive taken another look at what i wrote,and it was the truth,i didn't tear her apart,i was very tame,anyhow she was upset by what i wrote and the fact in an email,i wrote i wouldn't buy from them again,.But since i've calmed down,im taking my money back to there store as they seem to get more than we do in the uk,her sa clearly said i would get my bag when i didn't,and i wasn't treated right,but as im not after many more bags,i phoned them up and put in my order in,spoke to manger,i said what i needed to say,and she said her bit,and i'll leave it at that.I could hear the SA in the background,and clearly the manger is reading what i put in my threads,which is fine by me,but i will never keep queit if i have something to say,but manger at dublin did go out of her way when other stores where too lazy to bother,this as since changed,and now when i ask,store do a search for me.

Fourm's are a refreshing way for die hard fans of whatever persuasion to let off steam,or lust over the objects they desire.there are some who take them a bit too seriously and forget to have fun,i love admiring the stunning clothing,handbags,but also the discussion threads,which bring the most amusement.But i cant understand why anyone would do thread after thread ,of photos of themself's and there buys,and take it more seriously than the world economic's,get over yourself's allready!,crack a smile and make your arse jealous.life is just too short,ENJOY IT

fuschia red cavair maxi arrived today,its such a stunning colour,perfect for the summer,and all round classic,its the it bag of the summer,and i have it.thats  three maxi's in my collection,am i greedy ?,when most people cant even get one in the colour of their choice.nooooooo,in years to come,this will be the bag,that people will crave after,just like we do now with the vintage jumbo's.I just want to make sure i have five of them,Its perfect for every day use,and can hold the kitchen sink,and then some.and lets not forget,chanel prices go up year by year,and at present,this is one of the best vaule bags out there,leather per pound.so if your on the wait list,i hope your near the top,and if you miss out,get your name on list in june for the pre fall &winter maxi's,as some stunning colours will hit our shores then.I want to claim at least two of them

I told you a few days ago,how a wonderfull SA had located a ivory maxi for me.I was so happy,well i waited for my HG,all day friday,it still hadnt arrived by 4pm,so i decided to give brown thomas a call,i was asured it had been sent,they even kept me on hold while they double checked,all is fine.5pm came no ups,i know ups dont deliver after 5pm,and for paying £70 for next day delivery,i would have recived it by 1pm,as they deliver here a lot,i didnt let brown thomas know that.i waited till 5.30 pm,and phoned chanel,the manager linda cooper spoke to me,she asured me the bag had been sent, and asked if i was still buying the order taken by a SA,for the winter maxi's she seemed more concerned about that,i asked for the tracking number,she said she was just looking at ups site while i was on phone,she told me she would phone me back in ten mimutes,i waited,but knew something was wrong when she wouldnt give me tracking number.by six thirty no one had phoned me back,the store closes at 7pm.I called back,linda will call you back before she leaves,shes on the other phone now.well we all know what that means.7.50 pm,i get a call from a sales assit,who clearly didnt want to be making the call,shes so sorry but my bag didnt get sent out!,it was left sitting in a room,normally ups collect from chanel direct,but now the store sends every ones things out together,now when i was making the payment,they went on ups website,to find cost,and the local post office,if it was being sent by internal post,they wouldnt tell me ,we have to find you a delivery price from ups as there one of the better delivery companys,chanel uk uses ups,selfridges uses dhl,but carry the cost,and just charge customer £20 .they were clearly lying,they had just forgot to post it.the SA said sorry for whatever reason linda cant talk to you,shes in the office now.I told her,how upset i was,as linda the manager clearly new the parcel had not been sent when she checked online,but didnt bother to tell me at the time,she was only intrested that i was still ging to buy three maxi's from the fall collection.i will never buy from them again.im lucky i have nearly all my chanel's on my list,and have decided not to get any more maxi's after the fuschia and cherry red in fall,but ill get them from the uk and save over£100 in the total cost.thats not good customer serive,a mistake was made,were all human,but for the manager to behave like that,she will never see a penny of my cash again.when i first spoke to linda,she was so happy that i wanted to order quite a few things,i even sung her name on the tpf,so she got a lot of custom for me singing her praises,as she said she had a ton of bags,they werent jumping off the shelfs.im sure they were after my thread tpf.only intrested in sales and not the customer,my fuschia maxi is coming in,when they phone,ill decline it.hard to find items ill buy from vicky in las vegas,who really follows up everything,if i was happy with my bag,if theres anything else she can get me,big or small.so ill get a 09 red if she can find me one.dublin chanel did refund me delivery cost and the bag should arrive monday morring,i look forward to it arriving.

ITS COMING MY IVORY MAXI

linda at brown thomas dublin,came through for me,i was getting ready to start process of phoning stores,which seem to all open at 10am on wensday,when the phone rang,she has located my ivory maxi in italy,and its on its way to her now,what a star!,so my custom will stay at chanel dublin,may cost a little more,but prices on maxi are due to rise very soon anyway,to match rest of europe,so dont mind,and beats paying over £500 in customs and delivery charges from usa.the news has really made my day,i can now finally go and watch confessions of a shopahollic in peace,knowing one of my HG's is on its way to me soon.why cant all stores be like that,we pay enough for our bags,do we as customers mean so little,im just a little fish,but its us little fish who recive no freebies,and buy enough stock to open our own stores,that oftern get forgotton,we dont get to sit at front row fashion shows,butwait for the news from insiders to be feed to us,like someone on a drip.our £$ pays for fashion houses to remain open,they shouldnt forget that.SOME  STAFF could do with some customer care training.now im off to go watch my film.

march; the stress of trying to get my classic maxi

today has to be one of the most stressfull days of my life,was there an earthquake?,no!,did a major event happen? no,did a tragic accident happen? no,did the bank loose my wages?,no but that would have made me keel over.

no,none of the above,i decided after speaking to various SA,that today was the day id get my ivory maxi,or a s/s act2 blue.the morring started well,the clock stuck 9.30 am,i jumped on the phone,first to selfridges london,i asked SA,if she could locate the ivory or blue maxi,so i wouldnt run up a six digit phone bill,as the day before,chanel at brown thomas dublin told me,to get SA to do that,as that is their job,selfridges took my details,and said they'd get back to me after locating my choice of bags,i thought fine,ill leave them to it,but try a few stores as well,i phoned bond street,and requested the same thing,the SA said you phone back store that told you,i should look it up,and get codes for bag,then phone me back,and ill look it up.now thats what i call lazy,you have a look book with the codes in the store,and she cant be bothered to flick open a few pages,to find a code,but i must phone back dublin to get the code,what kind of lazy idiot do they have working for them,this is the same idiot,who just says we dont have this or that,straight away,without checking,and ive had to point out quite a few times,what colours the maxi comes in,that there is a maxi bag,and name parts of the s/s collection acts 1&2 as she doesnt know her stuff.this is same SA who i phoned one morring,for price,and date the two tone bag would come in,and said would phone back,but didnt,i phone at 11am,same lady answerd phone,her excuse,someone else was looking at lookbook,faire enough.she'll call later,3pm,no call,when i phone again,she says she cant find it in look book,but its on same page as chain around bag,and you can see that one,and i have same page of look book as her,brains in her bottom,i think so.slightly getting off course,ill get back on track.i phoned back selfridges,there doing a stock check ,so cant use computer,thats fine,i phone back four hours later,im sorry we dont have any but i can put yout name on waitlist,but i cant promise anything,thats not what iasked you to do,i told her,i asked her again,if she could take ten miutes to locate the bags of my choice,for a customer,who spends a lot of money.and would like proper customer service,she souded so rattled,but finaly wrote down my details and did actually fine me three stores to phone,but as shed taken so long,i pd allready phoned them myself.rome,had the bags,but didnt want to ship them to uk,they told me,it shouldnt be me phoning,but my SA,who could then request the bag.so i try next store venice,they have but are on hold,but if not sold will contact me at end of week,so i can get the bag,great stuff,i then try two more stores in germany,but to no avail,i phone france,rue cambon,why are your SA not doing this for you,phone them back ,so you dont waste your money on calls,thank you at last someone who belives the SA should do the work,and not the customer.i try swisserland,no luck.there is a nice message from selfriges,saying can i call them ,they have found a few bags,and are happy to try get them for me if i call back,i call back,they told me to locate the bags myself,but gave me the number,dublin has phoned back,they are still trying to get a maxi shipped to their store,so its easyer for me.should it be this hard,why do i have to end up paying more,by either buying from europe,or usa,chanel make wnderfull classic bags,and im just trying to buy a handfull, to last me through time,but as the price keeps going up,and customer service has gone to the dogs,i may just switch brands soon.i see a birkin coming my way very soon
